Activities

The new facilities at the W.B. Goodwin Community Center allows us to offer a wide variety of activities for our members. From swimming in our indoor pool to using our fitness center, we have something for everyone.

Being a member of the Goodwin Community Center allows access to a number of our regular activities and programs. Here is listing of some of the activities we offer:

Swimming – Activities in our pool include learn to swim program, lifeguard training, family swim Saturdays and more.


Basketball – Teams will be forming for our recreation basketball programs for children aged 6 to 12. Mom and Dad, don’t forget our lunchtime pickup basketball.

Soccer – Have fun with our many recreational soccer programs. Our “Mighty Mite” program for 4 and 5 year olds is a great introduction to soccer. We have teams for kids up to 12 years old, with occasional special soccer programs for teens.


Fitness Center – Our Fitness Center offers a number of stations that work on cardio, endurance and core strengths. And, our “Butts and Guts” program can help shape your body and drop the few extra pounds that are bothering you.


Yoga – Become more flexible with our weekly yoga session.

Zumba – Enjoy the music and dance your way to fitness with our Zumba sessions.

Pilates – Just added – use our Pilates program to help tone your body without adding extra muscle.

Summer Camp – Our fun and educational summer camp offers half day and full day options for kids from 5 to 12.


Afterschool Programs – Looking for a fun program to keep your children busy after school? Our afterschool program provides a fun, safe environment for your children where they can take part in some of our educational activities, do their homework and receive help from our tutors.
